Busy time on the Hawkesbury River Bridge for the Sydney Trains Bridge Team. Major works have been happening to refurbish one of the longest railway bridges in Australia which currently carries the Main North line.

Works being carried out involve over 1km of new walkway installation, two new gantries installation, and strengthening of steel members to enable future protective re-coating works. We have been challenged by formulating work methodologies to safely complete scope during live train windows, and working safely around the lead paint on the bridge.

Contracting partner Rhomberg Sersa Australia Pty Ltd has been working with Sydney Trains on this complex project.
