Final commissioning of More Trains More Services works at Waterfall, in a special nine day possession.
Over the last four years, there has been extensive remodelling of track, OHW and station platforms, in order to create more stabling lines, passing loops and better facilities for the ST teams that clean, prep and drive our trains.
There’s also been a lot of work with the adjacent National Park – reuse of material from our civils work to improve their roads and the creation of rain gardens to better deal with water run off.
All of this had been disrupted by covid and industrial action, so its was great to finally get to the free signalling commissioning weekend.
