Fantastic work by Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure rail team recently, completing a track reconditioning project at Antiene for ARTC during the November Hunter Valley major closedown.
The works were carried out across two sites and included 360m of track reconditioning, cess drainage improvements, embankment widening, closure rail installation and access road upgrades.
The works were all but completed in 62 hours, safely and to a very high-quality standard despite some significant challenges including working within a cutting with limited access, rock removal and turnout works.
