Van Elle was proud to support the development of the Great Western Main Line (GWML) station at Old Oak Common, commissioned by HS2 Ltd and delivered in collaboration with South Rail Systems Alliance On Networks Works (SRSA). The SRSA alliance comprises Colas Rail, Network Rail, and AECOM.
Van Elle’s scope included planning and executing foundation installations, supplying specialist plant, and providing skilled labour to complete the works efficiently.
Key Deliverables

Installed 26No. CHS steel-driven piles (762mm and 610mm diameter).

Installed 10No. concrete-encased auger piles (1,000mm diameter, 9m depth).

Installed a special foundation pile (650mm diameter, 6.75m depth) with a 950mm x 950mm x 750mm concrete cap.
