The A16 Rotterdam highway’s 400-meter-long flyover is steadily advancing, with the second and final deck installation in full swing.
Segment by segment, this impressive structure is pushed across the Terbregseplein. As each segment traverses the existing infrastructure, the teams simultaneously prepare the next segment in the prefab zone, where it’s precast and reinforced in relation to the previous segment.
With the reinforcement of the top slab ongoing, the teams are currently preparing the 12th of 17 segments, which is set to be launched Friday next week!
